Terms and Conditions

Included:
Superior First Class hotel accommodations including all taxes; round trip economy class airfare from New York to Europe and Europe to New York (included in land/air package); English speaking assistants; breakfast daily, plus other meals as indicated on the itinerary; porterage of one bag per person at hotels; complete program as indicated on the itinerary, including transportation and admission to all sights of interest as indicated.

Not included:
Airfare to/from cities other than New York and Europe; airline taxes, fuel surcharges and security fees; items of a personal nature, such as incidental hotel expenses (including phone calls, room service, laundry); meals not indicated on the itinerary; drinks with meals (other than wine and coffee); expenses for any activities not included on the itinerary; gratuities to drivers, guides and restaurant staff; insurance; and of course, your shopping purchases! No refund is given for any part of the program in which you choose not to participate.

Land tour only:
If you wish to make your own flight arrangements, you can register for the land only portion of the tour. Airport transfers are not included for those travelers who chose to make independent flight arrangements.

Payment:
A deposit of $300 per person is required at time of booking. Full payment by check or credit card is due no later than 60 days prior to departure. Checks can be mailed to Shop Around Tours Inc., 305 East 24th Street, Suite 2N, New York, NY 10010.

Insurance:

Traveling alone?
Single rooms are available for a supplement. But if you’d prefer, we’ll try to match you up with another lone traveler. Be sure to check off the appropriate box on the registration form. Should a roommate not be found, you will be responsible for the single supplement.

Additional hotel nights:
Please contact us if you are interested in extending your stay in Europe. Pre or post-tour nights at our tour hotels can be requested and are subject to availability.

Travel documents:
Approximately three weeks prior to departure, you will receive a travel information package including your airline ticket, detailed itinerary and luggage tags.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations made outside of 100 days from departure are subject to a $200 processing fee; 61-99 days from departure are subject to a $300 processing fee; 60-30 days from departure are subject to 50% of the program cost; under 30 days, payment is non-refundable.

Shop Around Tours Inc. is not responsible for any claims, loses, damages, costs or expenses arising out of injury, accident or death; damage, loss or delay of baggage; or delay, inconvenience or loss of enjoyment resulting from the act or omission of any party other than Shop Around Tours Inc. or its employees; mechanical breakdown, government actions, weather or factors beyond our control; cancellation or change for any reason in travel services offered; and your medical/health problems or physical disabilities. Shop Around Tours Inc. reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary at its discretion. In the event of cancellation of a tour by Shop Around Tours Inc., we will refund all monies paid.
