SHOP AROUND LONDON
Today we travel through the countryside to the Bicester Village outlet mall. Among its over 130 brands are quintessential English names like Agent Provocateur, McQueen, Anya Hindmarch, Burberry, Molton Brown, Mulberry, Penhaligon’s and Vivienne Westwood, as well as international brands including Armani, Bally, Carolina Herrera, Celine, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Fendi, Furla, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, La Perla, Missoni, Prada, Ferragamo, Tory Burch, Valentino, Versace and Saint Laurent (a full list of the brands at Bicester Village can be found here).
This afternoon, we’ll relax over traditional afternoon tea at Blenheim Palace, a World Heritage site. After tea, we’ll tour the Palace before returning to London.
DAY FOUR
We’ll start the day with a viewing of the Fashion Rules exhibit at Kensington Palace, home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (a.k.a. William and Kate) and the former residence of Princess Diana. We’ll view rare dresses from the collections of Princess Diana, Princess Margaret and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. Elegant displays explore how these royal figures were representative of the spirit of each decade, reflecting and inspiring everyday fashions.
After a break for lunch, we’ll have a hands-on scent creation workshop. We’ll learn about the creation of perfumes and each of us, guided by trained consultants, will create and take away a bottle or atomizer of our own unique fragrance.
Our last day in London is free for you to enjoy on your own. Our hotel is perfectly positioned for you to conveniently explore areas including Covent Garden, Leicester Square and the shops of Oxford Street.
This evening, we’ll bid London farewell as we enjoy a dinner cruise on the Thames River.
DAY SIX
All good things must come to an end. After breakfast, we say cheerio to London.
